About Us

Youth Town Hall is a non-partisan platform that connects young Americans and political candidates. It invites young adults ages 18-35 to submit questions to candidates, and invites candidates to respond, free from algorithmic distractions. In contrast to social media, Youth Town Hall is designed for quiet, focused engagement.

Just sit back, enter your city and ZIP, choose a candidate, and submit your question. The candidate's campaign chooses from submitted questions, and adds questions from the campaign trail. The candidate answers on video, on their public town hall. When one of your questions is answered and published, you get notified by email. Publishing your name is optional.

Candidates get to address issues affecting young people, and young people get to see their answers in one place, without getting advertised to.

Who we are

Youth Town Hall is run by End Point Corporation, a small technology consultancy founded in 1995, in collaboration with the people behind Presidential Youth Debate, which partnered with groups like Rock the Vote and Scholastic to provide a direct channel for millions of young Americans to hear from presidential candidates including George W. Bush, John Kerry, John McCain, and Barack Obama, from 1996 through 2012.

For more history, check out the Presidential Youth Debate websites from 2004, 2008, and 2012.

Our commitments

  • Unedited. If your question is published, it appears exactly how you wrote it.
  • Non-partisan. We don't endorse, support, or oppose any candidate or party. We treat candidates the same regardless of party affiliation.
  • Private. No advertising pixels. No third-party analytics. No browser fingerprinting. No selling your info. We delete your email address on a published schedule after the town hall ends, or sooner if you ask.
  • Anonymous. At any time, you can take your name off your questions, even if your question has been answered. If your words themselves could identify you, you can ask us to remove the question entirely.
  • Our revenue. Campaigns pay published rates to run town halls. That is our only revenue.
  • No doxxing. We reserve the right to delete any question that identifies a private individual. If you accidentally dox yourself in a question, ask us to remove it.
